BNTrAinee - Bonn Transdisciplinary Training in Artificial Intelligence Behavior

The existing AI expertise in computer science is structurally networked with various specialist disciplines as users of AI as part of the project, so that demand-oriented teaching/learning opportunities are developed together. The teaching/learning opportunities are provided via a learning platform.Computer scientists can apply the AI knowledge from their own subject to new scientific questions from other disciplines, together with scientists reflect critically from the other discipline and, if necessary, adapt or improve your own methods. For other disciplines, more and more AI knowledge at expert level is required that goes beyond AI literacy, which is particularly the case when AI methods are not only applied, but have to be tailored and adapted to the problems at hand. In this case, for students from the disciplines skills are required to engage in discourse with computer scientists about the use of AI methods on their own scientific questions and to critically reflect on them and use it for your own methods and statements. The development of a project exchange brings teachers from all disciplines together with students of computer science, within the framework of curricular mandatory project groups and theses, who jointly develop AI-based solutions for problems arising from practice.
